The inaugural Arbuthnot Latham Ryder Cup

Aim

After enjoying years of working together to deliver the annual Arbuthnot Latham Golf Day, both MBP and Arbuthnot Latham wanted to bring a fresh twist to an annual favourite in 2023. Having received plenty of successful feedback in previous years, the challenge was there to deliver something new and even better this time around!

Delivery

Building on the anticipation of the actual Ryder Cup in Italy in 2023, MBP and Arbuthnot Latham launched the inaugural ‘Arbuthnot Latham Ryder Cup’ competition in 2023. Holding the event less than a week before the professionals got their duel underway, MBP devised a unique format to pit ‘Team Arbuthnot’ vs ‘Team Latham’ against each other for the first time. Complete with their own team kits courtesy of Turtleson and professional coaching sessions courtesy of Jamie Donaldson, Europe’s senior AimPoint instructor - all players took to the course to experience a golf day with a real difference.

Impact

Seeking to deliver a new take on a firm favourite, Arbuthnot Latham and MBP were successful in delivering a unique and memorable experience for all those present. The day was productive in terms of helping Arbuthnot Latham strengthen client relations and onboard new ones as a result. Happily, the MBP team were pleased to receive glowing feedback from not only our Arbuthnot Latham hosts but also many of the guests and clients present in writing after the event.
