A certified PA for over 8 years, with a background in organisations of varying sizes, Joanne brings a wealth of diverse experience to the company. As Executive Assistant to the Board, Jo assists all the senior members of staff, as well as heads of divisions, with diary, travel and administrative duties, whilst working day to day with the CEO to ensure the smooth running of both the Royston and London office.
Alex’s role encompasses much of the day-to-day operations of the company, overseeing MB Partners’ commercial, communications and logistical procedures. This role includes coordinating the MB Partners Official Partner Programme as well as managing existing commercial relationships between our clients and their partners, seeking to ensure value is maximised in all directions. Alex is also responsible for leading the in-house communications and PR team.
While combining his studies with his role at MB Partners, Alex graduated from the University of Bath with a first-class honours degree and won the National British Olympic Association award for undergraduate academic excellence. Away from work, Alex remains an avid cricketer and footballer in his spare time.
Barry heads up the MBP Motorsport Academy and is responsible for driving the development of each of the academy drivers and the division as a whole.
Barry has experience working with young and talented drivers and liaising with teams and championships on a national and international level, covering both single seater formula and GT racing.
His love of motor racing started at a young age, living close to the Lotus factory at Hethel, Norfolk and he remembers the civic parade in Norwich City centre to celebrate Mario Andretti's 1978 F1 drivers title.
Prior to working in motorsport Barry worked for a FTSE 100 company in a number of senior positions centred on developing and managing relationships and brings experience of structure, process and governance.
Michael joined the MB Partners team having gained experience in the communications and PR industries through working directly on behalf of professional drivers. These duties saw Michael manage and lead social media strategies across a variety of digital mediums as well as using various web-platforms. Michael’s role is to assist in the development of the public relations department at MB Partners, helping to maximise the mediated profiles and opportunities for each of our clients.
An administrator with 15 years in the public sector over a variety of roles, Hannah has much experience in office administration, especially coordinating training and corporate events, large and small, as well as providing invaluable support to her office managers. At MB Partners, Hannah’s main focus is in assisting the day-to-day administerial requirements of our talented client portfolio.
Helena joins MB Partners while studying journalism at City, University of London. Having grown up watching motorsport at the weekends, Helena’s passion quickly turned in to a career goal. After setting up her own blog in 2016, she has won awards for her journalism - including the Sir William Lyons accolade for the most promising young motorsport journalist. Since this, she has worked with an array of motorsport teams, championships, and drivers to deliver PR and social media strategies.
Outside of motorsport, Helena has a love for travel, learning foreign languages, and spin cycling classes at the gym. Helena’s role at MB Partners is to assist the maximisation of public relations for the company's portfolio of professional and talented racing drivers.
A promising young marketer and sporting enthusiast, Jamie joins the MB Partners team to drive forward new commercial opportunities across our talent and events portfolio. Having studied Sports Marketing at university, Jamie has developed a wide knowledge base which couples nicely with his personal experiences within the sporting industry.
A keen sportsman and talented footballer away from work, Jamie’s role is to work closely alongside the broader team to maximise every opportunity for each of our clients, partners and sponsors.
