13th February 2017

MB Partners are pleased to announce that Arbuthnot Latham & Co., Limited the private banking and wealth management arm of the Arbuthnot Banking Group, have extended their longstanding sponsorship with European Tour golfer, John Parry.

Now entering their third year of partnership, Arbuthnot Latham’s support has enabled John to become a permanent fixture on the European Tour while their association with the 30-year-old golfer has proven an effective marketing strategy for the London and Dubai-based firm.

A former European Tour event winner, Parry enjoyed a strong 2016 season most notably enjoying a top-thirty finish at the prestigious British Masters. The Harrogate-based golfer has made an impressive start to his 2017 calendar as well, including a T40 finish at the BMW SA Open.

Noting the value of Arbuthnot Latham’s support, Parry is thankful for the renewed partnership and is looking forward to working with the firm in the year ahead.

“It is fantastic news that Arbuthnot Latham have agreed to sponsor me for the third consecutive year. I have a great relationship with the guys at the bank and enjoy playing golf with their clients and employees. I would also like to thank my management, MB Partners, for ensuring the relationship has been a success for both parties and I look forward to a successful 2017 on the European Tour.”

Arbuthnot Latham’s Head of Marketing, Nicola Roigard, has welcomed the news acknowledging the value that has stemmed from the company’s relationship with John Parry and MB Partners.

“We are very much looking forward to 2017 and the exciting new opportunities ahead for Arbuthnot Latham and our partnership once more with MBP”

Mark Blundell, MB Partners’ Chief Executive, is equally pleased at renewing a partnership he feels can go from strength-to-strength in the years ahead.

“We are excited to continue our partnership with Arbuthnot Latham centred around our European Tour golfer, John Parry. 2017 looks set to be a strong year for John and we look forward to helping Arbuthnot with opportunities both in the UK and the Middle East. ”
