MB Partners are delighted to announce the arrival of Barry Mears to strengthen the company’s motorsport division and lead the MBP Academy.
Barry’s extensive experience in the industry means he is well-placed to be responsible for the development of each of MB Partners’ Academy drivers as well as the division as a whole. Having worked with several well-known, young and talented drivers in recent years, Barry possesses a broad array of contacts across teams and championships on a national and international level.
The strategic addition of Barry to MB Partners’ academy driver offering, coincides as the Young Driver Programme becomes rebranded into The MBP Academy. The changes represent a desire internally to focus on the talent and ability of these drivers looking toward the professional ranks, as opposed to their age, and a commitment to offering the most complete service possible to each of these academy drivers.
As such, MB Partners are pleased that Kieren Clark will now be operating as the company’s Performance Coach where his sole focus will be on the on-track driving development of each of our academy drivers. Working together, Barry and Kieren will be well-placed to accelerate the development process of each of MB Partners’ academy drivers.
Looking forward to seeing the effect of these changes, MB Partners’ CEO, Mark Blundell, believes it shows that the company is constantly striving to offer the best possible route forward for each of its clients.
“In the last two weeks alone, the news coming out of professional motorsport has dramatically shifted the current landscape. The launching of the MBP Academy and the addition of Barry to our existing structure is a proactive move which ensures we are well-placed to continue to accelerate the development of each of our academy drivers.”
Head of the MBP Academy, Barry Mears, is excited at the potential that lies ahead for the MBP Academy stable.
“MB Partners have long had an excellent reputation in the driver management sector and I’m proud to be joining their team. The existing talent within their academy stable is undoubted and I know that, together with Kieren’s coaching expertise, we are in an excellent position to ensure this talent is maximised.”
