MB Partners are delighted to announce that young Radical Sportscars star Jack Manchester will be contesting in the third season of the Audi Sport TT Cup in 2017.
The seven-round series acts as the supporting programme for the DTM – Germany’s most popular motorsport platform and one of the world’s most prestigious racing series’. The Audi Sport TT Cup sees an international field of the world’s most talented young drivers competing against each other across Europe. Twenty-four centrally prepared and fielded cars guarantee performance parity, allowing the talent of the competing youngsters to shine through.
Having enjoyed a whirlwind first year in the Radical series last year, Jack is looking forward to making an impact on the Audi Sport TT Cup.
“To be accepted onto the Audi Sport TT Cup is such a fantastic opportunity. Last season’s success on the track was so exciting, so to build on this momentum I have been putting in every effort, both on and off the track, through the winter to make sure I’m well prepared.”
“This step-up is going to be an excellent challenge but I’m learning fast, have a brilliant team around me and I’m determined to make a positive impact on the series.”
MB Partners CEO, Mark Blundell, is eager to see Jack approach the new challenge.
“The Audi Sport TT Cup provides Jack with the perfect platform to illustrate his undoubted driving ability. His immense success last year in the Radical championships, his debut season in motorsport, shows that he is naturally talented within the sports cars format.”
“As the supporting programme for the DTM, Jack knows that he will be in good company at each race weekend with fellow MB Partners clients Gary Paffett and Tom Blomqvist taking to the track as well. We will all be giving every support we can to help Jack achieve continued success in 2017.”
The season kicks off at the DTM opener at Hockenheim on the first weekend in May. Across the calendar, Manchester will take on some of the world’s most renowned tracks including supporting the Nürburgring 24 Hours at the end of May and taking on the Norisring street circuit later in the year.
