This week will play host to rounds five and six of the championship as Khaled travels to the Muscat Speedway, Oman, where the youngster will be keen to keep the momentum running in his championship assault, as the series enters the all-important and decisive second half of the season.

So far, Khaled’s consistency throughout his campaign has rewarded the 13-year-old as he gained the championship lead for the first time in the previous round at the Al-Ain Raceway, despite narrowly missing out on the podium places.

“It should be another great week of racing, I’m really excited to get back in the kart and hopefully put in another strong performance. The championship is getting really close now, so we all know how important every point is going to be and we have to make sure we do our best to get as many as possible!”

Action for round five begins on Friday 8th February, where Khaled will compete in qualifying and one heat before the pre-final and the final in the afternoon session - with round six following the same timetable on Saturday.
