MB Partners sign Joseph Katsantonis

2nd November 2018

Joseph Katsantonis has become the latest young driver to team up with MB Partners as he looks to enjoy further success in his promising junior career. The talented karter has already enjoyed great success across the UK karting ranks and joins the junior portfolio at MB Partners as he looks to take his career to the next level.

A four-time champion in 2017, Joseph has quickly made a name for himself as one of the UK’s most exciting talents across the karting scene. This year has seen the Hertfordshire youngster once again competing at the front of the field across the country, recording numerous podium finishes, even when competing as a novice in the MSA Karting Ranks.

Shooting to prominence in 2017, Joseph firmly announced his arrival on the scene by becoming the youngest ever British Bambino BKC Champion. Prior to this, Joseph had also secured the British Open Championship O Plate, again becoming the youngest ever driver to do so as well as becoming proudly the first karter to secure both titles in the same season.

MB Partners CEO, Mark Blundell, is glad to welcome such a precocious talent to the company’s academy roster.

“Joseph is an exceptionally talented young karter. At his young age, it is important that we act as a sounding board of advice for him and his family as well as him utilising our team and our other drivers as mentors as he looks to enjoy his continued climb up the karting ranks.”

Joseph himself is excited about what the next few years have in store as he looks to build on his early karting season.

“I am really proud to be joining MB Partners. Mark and his team know more than anyone what it takes to be successful in motorsport. I’ve had a great couple of years and now I have to work even harder to stay at the front of the pack.”
