The first member of the MB Partners Young Driver Academy, Kiern is an exceptionally talented racer. Racing is very much in the family with both Kiern’s great-grandfather and grandfather having been involved in motorsport while Kiern’s dad has also raced in karts too.

Kiern had his first petrol quad bike at the age of 2 and took to it straight away. He enjoyed his first real outing in a racing kart aged 7 and started racing aged 8. He won all of his ‘novice’ races and moved straight on to Honda Cadet racing at national level. Kiern has now been racing for eight years and, to date, has managed to rack up over 200 trophies, 5 British titles, a European title and a large number of Super One British Championship wins and podiums in karting.

2017 saw Kiern Jewiss make the switch from karts to cars for the 2017 Ginetta Junior Championship. Displaying his ability to BTCC teams and to millions of fans at home, as the series is broadcast live on ITV, Kiern’s debut season was thoroughly impressive. 1 win and 12 podiums helped Kiern to be crowned as the 2017 Ginetta Junior Rookie champion, taking a record number 17 rookie wins in the process.

2018 brought a new challenge in Kiern's career as he made the step onto the single-seater ladder, teaming up with Double R Racing to compete in the British F4 Championship. Supporting the BTCC on the TOCA package, the championship is the UK’s premier single-seater series and is the first step on the FIA single-seater pyramid to F1.

The 2018 season proved to be another oustanding season for the young driver, which saw him crowned as Champion. Kiern completed his debut season in single-seater racing with Double R Racing, in the British F4 Championship where he collected six wins, with a record-breaking amount of points and a record-breaking amount of podiums.

Kiern’s success has not gone unnoticed, with Kiern being nominated for the BRDC McLaren Autosport Award, whilst also being selected as a BRDC Rising Star and attracting the attention of some of F1’s biggest teams.
