Mike Conway

Back to Motorsport

Starting his career in single seaters, Mike burst onto the racing scene by winning the 2006 British F3 Championship and later in the year won the iconic Macau Grand Prix. This drew the attention of F1 teams Honda Racing F1 Team, Super Aguri and Brawn F1 that used Mike as their test driver during his successful three-year stint in GP2.

Moving to the states, Mike had six seasons in the IndyCar Series that saw him collect four wins and seven podiums. Departing the single-seater ranks, Conway signed with TOYOTA Racing as their reserve and test driver for the 2014 FIA WEC programme and a year later became a full-time factory driver for the Japanese manufacturer.

For the 2018 season, Mike will again be playing his part in the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing team as the team embarks on the FIA WEC 'SuperSeason' which will stretch across 2018 and 2019 - featuring two Le Mans. On top of his WEC duties, Mike competed again with the Action Express team in selected rounds of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and helped the team secure the Championship Title and the North American Endurance Cup title.
