Richard Mansell

Back to Golf

Originally from Staffordshire, the Englishman possesses an enviable junior and amateur record in the game with his career having scaled new heights in the past few years. Having moved to America to continue his golfing and broader education, the 22-year-old helped his Nova Sharks university team to only their second national championship in their 51-year history in 2015.

A year later the young Englishman continued to impress; most notably recording a blistering round of 58 in a charity four-ball event at Fort Lauderdale Country Club, joining the likes of Jim Furyk in golf’s most exclusive club.

The first half of 2017 has seen Richard continuing to make within the golfing community; being picked for the European Arnold Palmer Cup team which comprises of the continent’s top-ten amateur players. Finishing the week as the European team’s second highest point scorer, Mansell looks well-placed to continue his ascent through the ranks as he teams up with MB Partners.
