KUWAIT MOTOR TOWN
FORMULA 4 UAE CHAMPIONSHIP - ROUND TWO
27-28 JANUARY 2023
Japanese racer Kanato Le recorded two more points finishes at round two of the F4 UAE Championship in Kuwait last weekend.
The weekend started strongly with Kanato securing P6 in qualifying one and P13 in qualifying two.
Another strong performance in race one resulted in a hard fought P7 overall and P3 in rookies.
Starting P12 on the grid for race two, an unfortunate stall left Kanato stationary which resulted in contact and a DNF.
Bouncing back from the disappointment of race two, Kanato climbed from P13 on the grid to register another top-ten finish with P8 at the chequered flag.
Kanato's season continues once more at Kuwait Motor Town on the 31st January to the 1st February with round three of the championship.
"Overall it was another positive weekend, we started strongly with good results in both qualifying sessions and race one. To bounce back after a disappointing result in race two with another top-ten finish ensured that we ended the weekend on a positive result. I'm looking forward to hitting the track once more for the next round of the championship and looking to build upon the good results from this weekend."
