FORMULA 4 UAE CHAMPIONSHIP - ROUND THREE
31 JANUARY - 1 FEBRUARY 2023
Young racer Kanato Le recorded another solid weekend in the third round of the F4 UAE Championship in Kuwait this week.
The round was kicked off with Kanato achieving P10 in the first qualifying session on Tuesday morning, however a heavily interrupted qualifying two yielded P18 on the grid for Wednesday's opening race.
Battling hard with the other drivers at the front of the field, Kanato crossed the line for P8 in the opening race to secure yet another top-ten finish.
After a race long battle in the midfield throughout race two and a brief safety car period, Kanato could only manage P22 at the flag.
To round out the day, Kanato crossed the line in P17 for race three after another safety car period prevented him from progressing furher up through the ranks.
The championship now heads back to Dubai Autodrome on the 10-11 February 2023 for the fourth round of the season.
"We showed some great pace this weekend and we looked strong in qualifying and race one finishing in the top-ten in both sessions. Unfortunately starting further back for Wednesday's races meant that we couldn't convert this speed into the results we wanted especially with the safety car periods. A massive thank you to Hitech GP for their continued support and I look forward to returning to Dubai next week."
