Round five of the 2021 Britcar Endurance Championship takes Charlie Martin to Brands Hatch for the penultimate round of the season, as the championship powers towards its conclusion.

At the double-length showpiece event at Silverstone last time out, Charlie and her Powerhouse Performance by Praga team mate Jack Fabby put on an exceptional display in tricky weather conditions to climb from sixth on the grid to second place at the chequered flag.
Heading to Brands Hatch, Charlie and Jack currently occupy third in the championship standings with 151 points, just 25 points behind the leading CW Performance pairing.
Racing around the Indy layout of the famous Kent circuit, track position will be vital as the high-speed Praga cars continue their championship charge. The 1.208-mile track is a fast and flowing circuit with drivers taking on the revered Paddock Hill Bend, Druids and Clearways corners all in the space of less than a minute.
“I’ve been raring to get back in the car since Silverstone," Charlie said. “We had a really positive weekend there and I’m determined to carry that momentum into Brands Hatch this weekend. It’s a very different circuit to Silverstone of course but I’m still excited nonetheless. It’ll be a real buzz to see the fans all the way around the track too. At this stage of the season, it’s important we maximise every opportunity we have to get those results.”
Taking place across Saturday, Charlie’s event begins with Free Practice at 09:00 on Saturday morning followed by Qualifying at 11:10. The first of the day’s two races begins at 13:50 followed by the final race of the day at 17:00 on Saturday evening.
