Charlie Martin secures yet another class podium ahead of World Finals

  • Charlie Martin claimed yet another class podium after a brilliant last lap overtake saw her secure the final spot on the podium in the first race of round six of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe championship as she gears up for the World Finals that follow this weekend.

  • In the first qualifying session, Jason would secure P6 in class, before Charlie would go on to claim P2 in the following session, setting the grid for the racing action that would follow on Thursday and Friday.

  • Race one on Thursday morning would see Jason taking the green flag and putting in a great opening stint to hand the car over to Charlie just shy of the podium places.

  • Charlie would showcase her brilliant speed behind the wheel of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Evo 2 to catch third place on the final lap, before executing a perfect overtake to take P3.

  • For the second race which heralded slippery and tricky conditions on Friday morning, Charlie would remain clear of trouble for her opening stint before handing over to Jason who would bring the car home in P4 at the chequered flag.

  • With the conclusion of round six in the championship, Charlie and Jason now turn their attention to the upcoming Lamborghini Super Trofeo world finals.

  • The World Finals will see competitors from Europe, North America and Asia battling it out amongst their respective classes for overall honours.

  • The racing action takes place on the 18-19 November, with live timing available here, as well as live coverage on the Lamborghini Squadra Corse Youtube channel.

The second race was a tricky one with very slippery and cold conditions, but we navigated it well to secure P4 at the chequered flag, which gives us a further confidence boost.


Now we look ahead to the World Finals which will be another fantastic experience to battle it out with the very best from North America and Asia, we will be giving it everything we have to get those podiums!"
