Charlie Martin is excited to head to the Silverstone Grand Prix circuit for this weekend’s round of the Britcar Endurance Championship, which will feature a double-length, two-hour endurance race.

After three rounds of the championship, Charlie and her Powerhouse Performance by Praga team mate, Jack Fabby, currently sit fourth in the Praga category championship standings on 124 points - only 22 points behind the title leaders. The pair have claimed three podium finishes from six races so far.
The two-hour Silverstone event marks the highlight of the calendar, with Britcar running an extended race for the first time since 2019. Taking place at the Home of British Motorsport, the race will run at the 3.661-mile Northamptonshire circuit - taking in some of motorsport’s most famous corners such as the high-speed Maggots and Becketts complex.
The action begins with Free Practice at 09:00 on Saturday morning, followed by the half-hour Qualifying session at 11:30. The double-length race will follow later in the afternoon at 15:55.
Viewers can follow all of the on-track action through the BARC YouTube channel.
“I’ve been looking forward to this weekend ever since the calendar was revealed,” Charlie said. “We’ve had a positive season so far and we’re quite confident that we can carry that on here and get back to the podium. The different format will lead to a lot of variations on strategy and pitstops, and I’m really intrigued to see how all of that unfolds throughout the race. Add to that the possibility of some rain throughout the day and I think we’ve got the prospect of a really exciting race in store!”
