TOM'S RACE REVIEW
“Firstly I’d like to say a huge thank you to all of the team for their hard work this weekend. It wasn’t an easy couple of days so to come away with two points finishes is a real testament to our efforts.
“Qualifying was another tricky session with the weather and track conditions. I think there was definitely more on the table but P14 meant we were still in a good position to make some progress up the order in the race.
“I felt confident we could have another good race following yesterday and I settled into a nice rhythm pretty early on. With a few of the frontrunners mixed in and around us, we knew it might be a bit more difficult but we held our own really well and I was able to enjoy a few battles throughout the race. The safety car late on meant it was a dash to the line on the last lap so it was important not to take any unnecessary risks with everyone bunched together, which paid off well in the end.
“As a team, we’ve scored points in all four races so far this season which is brilliant. We’re making progress all the time and I can’t wait to get back out there in Valencia in a couple of weeks time.”
