Esmee Hawkey joins MB Partners' managed driver portfolio

MB Partners are delighted to announce Esmee Hawkey, one of the UK’s leading female racing drivers, as the latest signing to its highly-rated stable of driver talent.

The 22-year-old has enjoyed a highly successful 2020 campaign so far with seven class victories in Porsche Carrera Cup GB alongside two overall podium finishes as she currently leads the Pro-Am championship.

Already one of the world’s most exciting and talented female drivers, Esmee’s performances continue to go from strength-to-strength and the Kent-based talent is keen to take her career to the next level in the coming years.

Currently competing in her third year of Porsche Carrera Cup GB and taking part in two seasons of the Ginetta Junior Championship before that, Esmee has become a familiar face in national racing paddocks and competed internationally in the inaugural season of all-women's racing championship, W Series, in 2019.

Upon joining the MB Partners talent portfolio, Esmee is looking forward to working with the team and is excited about the next steps that await in her promising racing career to date.

“I’m thrilled to be joining Mark and the team at MB Partners. I’ve got to know them quite well through my role as development driver at MB Motorsport accelerated by Blue Square this year and I’ve seen first-hand how they work with and support their drivers. I feel this is exactly the support I need to progress to the next phase of my career and can’t wait to begin working them.”

Mark Blundell, CEO of MB Partners, is over the moon to welcome Esmee to the MB Partners driver roster and is hugely encouraged at the potential of what lies ahead.

“I’m delighted to welcome Esmee to the team here at MB Partners. She is an exceptional talent who has taken some huge strides forward this year which you can see from the results she continues to deliver on track. I’ve seen her talent, commitment and work ethic up close and have no doubt she can go very far in the sport and I’m very pleased that myself and the rest of the team have the opportunity to help her reach those next levels.”
