SAHELN'S SIX HOURS OF THE GLEN - HIGHLIGHTS & FACTS
Mike and the #31 Whelen Engineering Racing crew travelled to upstate New York for the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen event at Watkins Glen
The race formed round three of the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup
Mike’s teammate, Pipo Derani, qualified the #31 fifth on the grid for the six-hour race
Varied strategies saw the DPi class order shuffle throughout the race
The team took the lead of the race just before half-distance with a superb pitstop under caution
Mike then stepped into the car after the four-hour mark but the team had to serve a drive-through penalty as Felipe Nasr sped in the pit-lane
After a late caution, the team took the chequered flag in fourth place
