Howdens and Andrew Watson announce strengthened relationship for 2021

MB Partners are delighted to announce a further strengthening of the successful partnership between top GT racing talent, Andrew Watson and Howdens, the UK’s leading trade kitchen supplier*, alongside the 2021 FIA World Endurance Championship.

Entering its third consecutive season, the partnership sees Andrew embark on a second campaign in the FIA World Endurance Championship, as he contests the LMGTE Am class with D’station Racing.

Founded in 1995, Howdens operates over 750 depots in the UK with one in four products manufactured in the UK. Offering kitchens for every home, style and budget, Howdens stock a wide variety of products ranging from flooring and joinery to hardware and appliances.

Following a successful debut season in WEC last year, where Andrew took to the podium in Bahrain and finished in an excellent fifth place during his first visit to the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Northern Irishman makes a hotly-anticipated return to the series with new team D’station Racing. The 26-year-old has enjoyed a positive start to the season, lifting the team to a points finish at the opening round of the year at Spa-Francorchamps.

Commenting on the announcement, Andrew is looking forward to another thrilling season of racing and working with Howdens on a variety of exciting activations throughout the year.

“I’m really pleased to be teaming up with Howdens once again,” Andrew said. “We’ve enjoyed plenty of success together over the past two years so to be partnering for a third is really exciting. I look forward to working closely with them throughout the year as we push for more success both on and off track.”

Andrew Livingston, CEO of Howdens, added:

“We’re delighted to be once again joining Andrew for his second year in the World Endurance Championship. Our relationship has continued to go from strength to strength and, despite last year proving a challenging time for everyone, it was brilliant to see Andrew enjoy the success he did - hopefully this year we’ll be able to get back trackside and work together on a number of events.”
