MB Partners are thrilled to announce the signing of British Touring Car Championship front runner and esteemed Historics racer Jake Hill, to its managed driver portfolio.

With nine podium finishes and two race wins to his name, Jake enjoyed his most successful season to date in 2021 as he powered to fifth place in the Drivers’ Championship, remaining in the title hunt until the very last round of the year.
The 27-year-old has grown to become one of the BTCC’s most liked and respected drivers, ranking as a fan favourite off-track and a determined competitor on-track.
Since 2020, Jake has raced underneath the MB Partners-operated MB Motorsport accelerated by Blue Square banner and has enjoyed his best form to date in the BTCC - claiming a total of 15 podium finishes across the two seasons.
He claimed his first overall podium in the championship at his home circuit of Brands Hatch in 2018 with his first outright victory soon following at Knockhill in 2019, at the wheel of AMD Tuning’s Audi S3 Saloon. Jake then claimed two further victories in back-to-back weekends in the MB Motorsport Ford Focus ST at Croft and Silverstone in 2021.
Hailing from Kent, Jake’s love for motorsport grew from an early age with his talent clear to see. In tandem with his BTCC efforts, Jake also has a passion for classic and historic racing, competing in a range of vintage machinery throughout the year, such as this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed - where Jake won the Touring Car class of the FOS Shootout in two different Nissan Skyline R32 GTRs.
Commenting on the announcement, Jake is delighted to be joining MB Partners and looks forward to taking the next step in his career.
“I’m thrilled to be joining the MB Partners family,” Jake said. “Over the past few years, I’ve got to know Mark and the team very well - from being teammates in 2019 to working closely together at MB Motorsport. We have a really good relationship and Mark and the team’s expertise will only help me progress further in my career both in and out of the car.”
Mark Blundell, CEO of MB Partners, added: “Jake is one of British motorsport’s brightest talents and I’ve seen that up close over the last couple of seasons. We have very much enjoyed working with Jake in a different way over the last couple of years and are delighted to now represent his interests on and off the track.”
