BATHURST 12 HOUR
INTERCONTINENTAL GT CHALLENGE
3 - 5 FEBRUARY 2023
Jordan Love claimed a P4 finish in the Pro-Am category after a testing race around the iconic Mount Panorama circuit.
Starting the race from P18 on the grid after issues halted what looked to be a promising qualifying session, Jordan and his teammates, David Reynolds and Tony Bates climbed up the ranks to a well deserved finish on Sunday afternoon.
Taking the chequered flag with P11 overall with 316 laps completed.
"It’s always a pleasure to go racing at Bathurst. It’s one of my favourite tracks and in the AMG GT3, it’s something special. Unfortunately, our weekend was far from what we were hoping for. From a result’s perspective, it was a long way off what we know was possible for us. A few small car issues leading into the event meant we didn’t get to maximise qualifying. In the race, we were making good progress early on but then a small incident with Tony in the car gave us some damage to deal with which affected our top speed dramatically and halted our progress. We were then managing a brake issue late in the race but we kept to our strategy and got the car home. Finishing P4 for us is a little disappointing as we know what was possible but we finished and sometimes in these types of races, especially at Bathurst that’s the biggest challenge. We will be back for more. It’s always a pleasure racing with Tony and Dave and a huge thanks to the team for all their efforts.
