A confident Kanato Le headed to Brands Hatch for round two of the 2022 Ginetta Junior Championship
Another excellent weekend from the 14-year-old saw him claim his first overall race victory with a sublime drive in the opening race - sparring in several exciting battles and making some decisive overtakes
The Japanese driver also took Rookie Cup honours in the opening race alongside his overall victory
A further top-ten finish in the final race of the weekend rounded off a successful weekend for Kanato and he now occupies fifth place in the championship standings with 99 points and sits in second place in the Rookie standings
Thruxton Circuit in Hampshire plays host to the third round of Kanato's campaign on the weekend of May 28-29
