BRANDS HATCH INDY CIRCUIT
ROKiT BRITISH FORMULA 4 CHAMPIONSHIP - ROUND TWO
6-7 MAY 2023
Kanato Le is fully focussed as he gets set to contest round two of the ROKiT British Formula 4 Championship with Hitech GP at Brand Hatch's Indy Circuit this weekend.
A positive showing on his British Formula 4 debut in the opening round at Donington Park, where Kanato showed strong pace and battled for race leads, means he heads into round two full of confidence.
Kanato left Donington Park with a total of 17 points, and goes into this weekend sitting tenth in the driver's standings.
The 1.2 mile Brands Hatch Indy racetrack is known as one of Britain’s best-loved motor racing circuits, with a unique combination of dips, cambers and hills which will leave the drivers with little margin for error.
Brands Hatch's Indy circuit is also the venue where Kanato scored his first race victory in the Ginetta Junior Championship in May last year.
Coverage of the action is available across the weekend live on ITV.com/btcc and ITV4. Live timing is also available.
"I can't wait for round two this weekend. We showed great pace at Donington Park and the goal is to carry that momentum into Brands this weekend. The Indy layout is a short circuit with little margin for error, but we've been testing here throughout the winter period and I won here in Ginetta Juniors last year, so I'll be tapping into that experience. The aim is to be battling towards the front end of the field again this weekend and try to collect some silverware."
