DUBAI AUTODROME
F4 UAE CHAMPIONSHIP
13 - 14 JANUARY 2023
Young Japanese racer Kanato Le will make his debut in the UAE F4 Championship this week with the opening round of the 2023 season at Dubai Autodrome
The 5.39 km Dubai Autodrome consists of 16 corners and will play host to three championship races this week
Kanato arrives at the Dubai Autodrome after the winter break but on the back of an impressive debut weekend in Formula 4
Making his competitive single-seater debut at the 2022 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend, Kanato claimed a second-place podium finish on his debut weekend alongside a top-five finish in the non-championship UAE F4 Trophy
This weekend marks the start of the five-round, fifteen-race, UAE F4 Championship which will visit Dubai Autodrome, Kuwait Motor Town, and Yas Marina Circuit
The action starts with testing this week, followed by the first qualifying session of the season on Friday at 12:00 (GMT +4), followed by the first race of the season at 16:25
Saturday commences with race two at 09:40, with the final race of round one taking place at 12:25
“I'm really looking forward to the first race of the 2023 season this week. My first F4 weekend back in November was a successful one with a podium in Abu Dhabi so the goal this week is to carry that momentum into Dubai. It's been a long break away from racing, but with the Hitech GP team behind me, I am confident that we can have a strong weekend and launch our championship campaign off on the right foot."
