Martin raring to go at Oulton Park

After a five-week break, Charlie Martin and the Powerhouse Performance by Praga team return to the track this weekend as the Britcar Endurance Championship visits Oulton Park for round three of the 2021 season.

Scoring three podiums from four races, with a victory and two further second places so far from visits to Silvertsone and Snetterton, Charlie and teammate Jack Fabby have reinforced their status as frontrunners in the Praga category.

Occupying fourth place in the championship with 84 points, the #91 Praga R1 crew look to resume their podium-scoring performance after being forced into retirement during the last race at Snetterton.

Racing around the 2.69-mile International layout of the Oulton Park circuit, Charlie will tackle some of British motorsport’s most iconic corners such as Old Hall, Cascades and Knickerbook.

“It’s been a long few weeks so I’m really excited to be back behind the wheel this weekend,” Charlie said. “As a team I think we’re all determined to get back to the podium after how our weekend ended in Snetterton and I’m quite confident that we can make that happen. I’m sure it’s going to be a really exciting weekend and, as it’s Pride month, I’ll be as proud as I always am to represent the LGBTQ+ community on the track!”

The weekend will begin on Saturday morning with Free Practice at 08:45. Qualifying then follows later in the morning at 10:45. The first one-hour race of the day is scheduled for 13:30-14:30 before the second and final race concludes the day at 16:40. Viewers will be able to catch all of the action live through the BARC YouTube channel.
