The global sports management and marketing group, MB Partners, is delighted to announce the launch of its own esports Racing Team. Bringing together an illustrious group of drivers under the MBP Esports umbrella, the new project will see MB Partners’ stable of managed drivers compete against the world’s best across a variety of online competitions as well as allowing the company to explore new commercial opportunities across the gaming sector.

Covering almost every rank of elite level motorsport globally, MBP Esports brings together the talents of Mike Conway, Gary Paffett, Tom Blomqvist, Andrew Watson, Callum Ilott, Kiern Jewiss, Louis Foster and Kanato Le to form one of the sport’s most talented driver lineups. Drawing upon their collective racing experiences to date, MBP Esports will embark upon a number of internal online race meetings as well as taking on some of the world’s largest and most prestigious esports competitions. Mark Blundell, CEO of MB Partners, is excited by the potential that lies ahead for the new outfit and explains that there are many reasons behind the team’s formation. “The growth of esports across motorsport is unquestionable and it is a space that we have been actively working within and exploring in great detail for a while now. As you have seen across the world in recent weeks, it is a sector that has exploded due to the current situation that we face and thus now provides a great moment for MB Partners to step up their involvement in this space.” “Firstly as a management group, the formation of MBP Esports offers all of our drivers the chance to keep themselves as fresh as possible whilst their racing calendars are up in the air, while offering our younger drivers a direct opportunity to learn from and race alongside some of the sport’s most respected and recognisable names inside our managed driver portfolio. Beyond that, we are lucky to have very strong relationships with some of the world’s most recognisable brands and this new platform will allow us to explore collaborations with our existing partners across this evolving and growing sector.”
