MB Partners welcome Jann Mardenborough to managed driver portfolio

MB Partners are thrilled to welcome successful elite-level racing driver, Jann Mardenborough, to its highly-rated driver management stable.

In recent years, Jann has raced extensively in Japan - enjoying sustained success across a variety of series’ with accolades including Japanese Formula 3 Vice-Champion in 2016. In Super GT, Jann was a race winner in the GT300 class and boasts podiums and pole positions in Super Formula.


The 29-year-old moved up to contest the GT500 class in Super GT with Nissan’s Calsonic Impul team - claiming a podium finish at Sugo in 2018 - before switching to Kondo Racing ahead of the 2019 season, where he remained for 2020.


Alongside his racing commitments, Jann also worked with Nissan’s Formula E programme as their official simulator driver, aiding the team to second place in the 2019-20 ABB FIA Formula E Championship.


Prior to his success in Japan, Jann claimed an excellent third in the LMP2 class at the 2013 24 Hours of Le Mans and made appearances in the British GT Championship and Blancpain Endurance Series as well as FIA European F3 and GP3 Series, claiming victory in the Sprint Race at the Hockenheim round of the F1 support series in 2014.


Jann rose to prominence in 2011 after entering GT Academy, an initiative where gamers compete against each other for an opportunity to race in real life, run by Nissan and Gran Turismo.


After beating 90,000 fellow entrants from around the world to win the contest, Jann was rewarded with a competitive drive with Nissan at the following year’s Dubai 24 Hours, where he thoroughly impressed with a third-place finish in his class.


Commenting on the announcement, Jann is excited to get started and is looking forward to the next chapter in his successful career.
