Mercedes-AMG Junior Driver, Jordan Love, is back racing in the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup as his Silver Cup campaign resumes with round two at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.
Jordan will once again be joined in the #77 Haupt Racing Team Mercedes-AMG GT3 by Frank Bird in the Silver Cup classification.
Last time out in the opening round at Brands Hatch, Jordan and Frank kicked off their season in fine style as they secured a double-class podium and head to Misano second in the Silver Cup Drivers' Championship with 21.5 points. This weekend sees Jordan take on the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli - named in honor of the late MotoGP racer. Located a short distance from the beachfront, Misano's 4.226km layout will see the biggest field in the history of the Fanatec Europe GT Sprint Cup this weekend - with a record-breaking 42-cars. Speaking of his excitement ahead of the opening weekend, Jordan said: "I'm really excited to head to Misano for the first time in a couple of years! Frank and I had a strong start to the season at Brands Hatch in round one so the goal for this weekend is to build on that and continue our championship fight. I know all of the Haupt Racing Team have been working really hard and we're aiming high this weekend."
The action begins early on Friday, with free practice and pre-qualifying, before Saturday sees qualifying getting underway at 09:00 (local) followed by race one at 14:00. Sunday follows the same format with qualifying at 09:00 followed by the second race at 14:00. Live coverage and timing across the weekend can be found on the GT World Challenge website.
