Red Bull Ring next up for Jake Hughes

  • Round eight of the 2022 FIA Formula 2 Championship sees Jake Hughes head for the Styrian mountains with the Austrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring

  • The Brit finished his home event at Silverstone last time out in the points-paying positions, making it back-to-back feature race points finishes

  • The picturesque 4.318km Red Bull Ring rewards power on the first half of the lap before a series of technical corners offers a tough challenge for all of the drivers

  • Entering the weekend, Jake occupies P16 in the championship standings with 16 points

  • Coverage of all sessions is available live in the UK on Sky Sports F1 throughout the weekend

“The Red Bull Ring is a great circuit and definitely a highlight of the season. I've enjoyed success here in the past with wins in both GP3 and F3 so I know what it takes to be quick around here and hopefully I can use that experience! I’ve been quite consistent lately, finishing around the backend of the top 10 finishing positions in Baku and Silverstone, but we still just need to get some extra pace from somewhere so that’s our target for the Red Bull Ring."
