Season-best qualifying and a podium trip at Croft for Kanato Le

  • Japanese racer Kanato Le enjoyed a strong weekend of results at Croft Circuit

  • Recording his best qualifying result of the season to date, Kanato's fastest and second-fastest lap times rewarded him a third-place starting position for both of the weekend's races

  • Despite losing ground in the first race of the weekend, Kanato persisted to finish race one in 8th place and as the 4th best rookie

  • The second race of the weekend proved much more successful for Le as he displayed fantastic pace to finish in 4th place and recorded a rookie podium with 2nd place in the rookie cup

  • Two points finishes this weekend sees Kanato sit 8th in the Drivers' Championship with 135 points - with Le occupying 3rd in the Rookie Cup

  • With the summer break now here, Kanato's season resumes at Knockhill, Scotland, for round five at the end of July (30 - 31)

“After a tough time at Thruxton last time out, it feels great to bounce back at Croft with a trip to the podium and my best qualifying result of the season. The team did a great job to give me such a quick car which definitely filled me with confidence in all of the sessions. I'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone at Elite Motorsport, MB Partners, Elliot Harvey, Jake Hill & Mark Blundell for all of their help this weekend. We have our summer break now but I'm fully motivated to get to Knockhill next month and hit the ground running."
