THRUXTON
ROKiT BRITISH FORMULA 4 CHAMPIONSHIP - ROUND FOUR
3-4 JUNE 2023
Kanato Le heads to the high-speed Thruxton Circuit for the fourth round of the ROKiT British F4 Championship
Fresh from his strong performance in round three at Snetterton, where he claimed a second place finish, his best qualifying performance of the year so far and a healthy haul of points, Kanato will be looking to continue his fine form
The demanding nature of the 2.4 mile Hampshire venue will provide a unique challenge for the young racer with the majority of the lap taken at full throttle and little room for error
Kanato has fond memories of the circuit after securing his maiden career pole position in the Ginetta Junior Championship in August of 2022
Kanato currently sits 4th in the drivers' standings on 76 points, having scored a race victory at Brands Hatch and a second place at Snetterton
Saturday's action will kickstart with qualifying at 11:05 before the opening race of the weekend at 16:10
The final races of the weekend will take place on Sunday at 13:00 and 16:30 respectively
Coverage of the action is available across the weekend live on ITV.com/btcc and ITV4. Live timing is also available via TSL Timing.
"I can't wait to get on track this weekend to continue the great start to the season we have experienced so far. I'm feeling confident with the car and the goal as always, is to be challenging at the front once more with the pace we have showcased all season long. We know there is even more speed to find in the car so myself and the team will be working hard to dial it in ahead of qualifying to get the weekend off to the best possible start!"
