Round eight of the 2022 FIA Formula 2 championship saw Jake head to the Red Bull Ring, Austria
Jake got his weekend off to a brilliant start as he finished as the fastest driver in free practice
However, he couldn't replicate this result in qualifying and ended the session in 19th position
Making progress in the Sprint Race, Jake crossed the finishing line in 16th place
In Sunday's Feature Race, Jake and his team executed an excellent tyre strategy and delivered a good improvement in race pace to finish the race in 5th place
Jake's P5 result marks his second-best result of the season and his third consecutive feature race points finish
This result pushes Jake up to 15th in the Drivers' Championship with 26 points
A short break for Jake and the F2 paddock before they return to action at Circuit Paul Ricard, France in two weeks' time (22 - 24 July)
"Overall, a positive weekend with some good points collected in Sunday's Feature Race. Once again, our pace improved more as the weekend progressed which is a real positive. To go from P19 to P5 in Sunday's race is a fantastic result and was a great job by the team on strategy. Three feature races in a row in the points, now let's go to France and keep the momentum rolling for some more points!"
