Callum has enjoyed a superlative start to his 2020 campaign with victory in the opening round of the season followed by a further two points finishes in the following races.

The results of those first four races means he currently sits in joint second-place in the championship table only five points behind the leader. Heading into this weekend, the Hungaroring is a track Callum has performed well at in the past with a victory and two further podium finishes across European F3 and the GP3 Series.

“We’ve had a really strong start to the season in Austria so I’ll be looking to carry that on this weekend in Budapest. It’s a fun circuit that can be really rewarding when you get it right and I’ll be making sure I try and replicate my form so far to get some good results.”

If ever anyone was the physical embodiment of unlucky then it would no doubt be Jake Hughes. Between more mechanical gremlins and being unceremoniously wiped out of the race whilst battling for the win last weekend in Austria, Jake unfortunately has only half a point to his name.

Despite the clear mismatch between his points tally and what his speed dictates is possible, Jake is in fine spirits heading into the Hungarian weekend.

“I’m looking forward to heading off to Budapest. It’s a chance to wipe the slate clean and get my season started properly. Half a point from the first four races obviously isn’t ideal but I know the pace is there to succeed, I just need everything else to fall into place around it."
