Callum Ilott Austria FIA Formula Two Round Two
Jake Hughes Austria FIA Formula Three Round Two
Preview: 10 - 12 July 2020
As Formula One reconvenes for the second weekend at the Red Bull Ring in Austria, so does the Championship’s #RoadToF1 feeder series as Callum Ilott and Jake Hughes look to advance the early stages of their campaigns.

Callum Ilott - FIA Formula Two, Round Two, Austria
After the sensational start to his season last weekend, Callum Ilott will be aiming for further success as he claimed his maiden FIA Formula Two victory in last weekend’s Feature Race.
Callum showed tremendous speed and racecraft in the opening two races of the year and is in a prime position to push for further silverware as FIA Formula Two returns to the Styrian mountains.
“Last weekend was the perfect start to the year and hopefully this weekend we can continue to fight it out at the front. It was great to be back in the car and it now feels like we’ve never been away. Knowing we have the pace and speed to win only pushes us further so we’ll be giving it our all once again!”

Jake Hughes - FIA Formula Three, Round Two, Austria
Jake Hughes’ showed fantastic pace across the opening weekend of the year but didn’t get the deserved results to show for it after he was forced into the pits on the formation lap of race one. The Briton delivered an overtaking masterclass on Sunday to climb from P28 to P12 and will be looking to open his point-scoring account this weekend.
With a clean slate this weekend, Jake will look to put that right and claim the strong results his efforts should be rewarded with.
“Whilst it was great to be back racing last weekend, it didn’t pan out as we’d hoped. But we proved we had good pace all through the weekend - as we often do at this track - and that was a real confidence boost. Hopefully we can have a clean run this time out and come away with some strong results to make up for what we lost!”
