Double victory for Jordan Love in Abu Dhabi

Jordan Love claimed back-to-back victories on the weekend with his Johor Racing team, as they took victories in both races at the Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi, in the #88 Triple Eight Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO.

Lining up with Prince Jefri Ibrahim and Luca Stolz, the team arrived in Abu Dhabi on the back of a fifth-place finish at Dubai Autodrome last time out.

Saturday saw the team claim their first victory in the Asian Le Mans Series as Jordan and the team put in a faultless performance to win the opening race of the weekend in Abu Dhabi by over ten seconds after four hours of racing.

Carrying their winning momentum into Sunday, Jordan and the team crossed the line in second place on the road but a post-race penalty for the #19 Leipert Motorsport Lamborghini handed the victory to Jordan and the #88 Triple Eight entry - making it back-to-back victories in Abu Dhabi.

The double victory meant that Jordan helped the #88 Triple Eight entry secure second in the Asian Le Mans Series GT Championship - finishing with 74 points and just two points off the championship winners.

"BACK TO BACK - P1 today, P1 yesterday and P2 in the championship! We were P2 on the road but after a post-race penalty we grabbed the win. Massive thank you to my teammates, Johor Racing, Triple Eight, and Mercedes-AMG - it was an amazing effort by everyone and they deserved the victories! Next up for me, Bathurst 12 Hours, and I can't wait to get back there."
