MBP are delighted to announce that female racing star, Tatiana Calderón, has become the latest driver to join its managed portfolio of elite racing drivers.

Hailing from Bogotá, Colombia, Tatiana Calderón has competed at the top level of motorsport; having successfully contested in IndyCar, Super Formula, FIA Formula 2 and the FIA World Endurance Championship.

Starting her racing career at the age of just nine, Tatiana realised her love for Motorsport and decided to dedicate her time to pursuing a career as a professional racing driver.

Enjoying success early on in her career in karting, Tatiana became the first woman to win a Colombian national karting title, as well as the first female champion of a national American karting series.

Her first season in car racing was an instant success, being crowned vice-champion of the Radical European Master Series -  collecting one win and ten podiums in her debut season.

Stepping up to single-seaters, Tatiana started on the ‘Road to Indy’ program in the Star Mazda Championship, USA, and enjoyed a best finish of 6th place in the championship in 2011.

Moving to Europe to pursue her career further, Tatiana contested some of the biggest single-seater championships in the world; including British Formula 3, FIA Formula 3 European Championship, GP3 Series, FIA Formula Two, World Series Formula V8 3.5 and more.

A pioneer for females in motorsport, Tatiana became the first woman to mount the podium in the Star Mazda Championship’s history, the first female to stand on the overall podium in British Formula 3, the first woman to score a podium finish in the World Series Formula V8 3.5, and the first female to drive in FIA Formula 2.

Moving to the top level of international motorsport, Tatiana became the first Latin-American woman to drive a Formula One car having been selected to be the Test Driver for the Alfa Romeo F1 Team in 2018 - a role she held with the team for four seasons.

Tatiana was also elected to be the Test Driver for championship-winning DS Techeetah for the 2018/19 FIA Formula E season.

Last year in 2022, Tatiana made her IndyCar Series debut with legendary team, AJ Foyt Racing, as she contested the street and road course rounds.

Now moving into the world of sports cars, Tatiana is set for the 2023 European Le Mans Series where she has joined Spanish-based Team Virage in LMP2 - racing alongside teammates Ian Rodríguez and Rob Hodes.

This won’t be Tatiana’s first experience of prototype endurance racing, having previously contested the European Le Mans Series, FIA World Endurance Championship and the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the LMP2 class with Richard Mille Racing Team.

When asked about signing with MB Partners, Tatiana said: “I’m really happy to have signed with MB Partners. The communication between myself, Mark and the rest of the team has been really positive already. I feel like they share my ambitions and I'm looking forward to the next chapter of my racing career under their management.”

Mark Blundell, CEO of MBP said: “I'm really proud to welcome Tatiana to our family here at MB Partners. Tatiana has a lot of experience having achieved success in multiple levels of international motorsport across the globe. She is now competing in sportscars, which is in a really positive place at the moment, and I’m very much looking forward to supporting her throughout the next stage of her career.
